Ethereum DA

The vast majority of EVM rollups today post transaction data directly to Ethereum, which ensures a rollup inherits the security offered by Ethereumโ€™s settlement layer. The value of Ethereum staked makes Ethereum the most secure L1 smart contracts network. This makes its DA guarantees exceptionally high.

3Base currently utilizes Ethereum as the data availability layer ensuring the rollup acquires the security properties of the Ethereum mainnet, making it resilient to attacks and censorship.
